Thirty nine things that happen to you when you are Saved

When the new birth takes place many irreversible things happen.  The Bible states that the one who is born again has:

1)     Received everlasting life   

John 3:16

16"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,[a] that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

2)     Been born again    

I John 5:1

1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.

3)     Been born of incorruptible seed    

I Peter 1:23

23For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

4)     This incorruptible seed remaining in him    

I John 3:9

9No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God's seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God.

5)     Become a son of God    

John 1:12

12Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God—

6)     Become a new creation    

II Corinthians 5:17

17Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

7)     Been passed from death unto life    

John 5:24

24"I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.

8)     Been exempted from future condemnation

9)     Been redeemed from under the law

10)     Been redeemed from the curse of the law

11)     Become dead to the law

13)     Been reconciled to God     

II Corinthians 5:18

18All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation

14)     Peace with God

1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a]have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

15)     Been justified

23)     Been accepted of God

24)     Been born of the Spirit of God     

John 3:6

6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit[a] gives birth to spirit.

25)     Been baptized by the Spirit of God

13For we were all baptized by[a] one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.

26)     Been indwelt by the Spirit of God

19Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

27)     Been sealed with God's Spirit     

Ephesians 1:13

13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

28)     Become the object of God's love 

Ephesians 2:4

4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

29)     Become the object of God's grace

Romans 6:14

14For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.

30)     Become the object of God's power  

Ephesians 1:19

19and his incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of his mighty strength,

31)     Become the object of God's faithfulness  

I Corinthians 1:9

9God, who has called you into fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

32)     Become a citizen of heaven     

Ephesians 2:19

19Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow citizens with God's people and members of God's household,

Philippians 3:20

20But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,

33)     Been seated with Christ in the heavenly places    

Ephesians 2:6

6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus

34)     Been already glorified    

Romans 8:30

30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

35)     Been given a home in heaven    

John 14:1-3

1"Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God[a]; trust also in me. 2In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.

36)     Been kept by the power of God     

I Peter 1:5

5who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time.

37)     Been crucified with Christ    

Galatians 2:20

20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

38)     Been buried with Christ    

Romans 6:4

4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

39)     Been resurrected with Christ    

Ephesians 2:6

6And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,
